Why Sites Leak
Websites That Convert

Why your website is losing leads.

Almost every leak is one of these five things.

Audit your own site against this list.

  • 01
    Slow on mobile
Anything over 3 seconds and you’ve lost half before the page paints.
  • 02
    Phone number is buried
If it’s not visible the second the page loads, it’s invisible.
  • 03
    Form is too long
Birthday, mailing address, project budget. Each field cuts response rate.
  • 04
    No proof above the fold
No reviews, no photos, no badges. Visitors don’t trust strangers.
  • 05
    Confusing CTA
“Learn More.” “Submit.” “See Pricing.” People want “Get a Free Quote.”

Most owners assume traffic is the problem. It usually isn’t.

If you’re getting 1,000 visitors a month and 5 leads, the site is leaking. Doubling the traffic gets you 10 leads. Fixing the leaks gets you 50. Fix the bucket before you turn up the tap.

Three checks. 15 minutes each.

  • 01
Pull up the site on your phone
Cell signal, not WiFi. If anything feels off, it is.
  • 02
    Watch a session recording
Hotjar or Microsoft Clarity. Free. Watch 5 real visitors. You’ll see the problem.
  • 03
    Check your form completion rate
How many start the form vs how many submit it. Big drop = the form is the leak.
The takeaway

A leaking site doesn’t need more traffic. It needs repair.

Fix conversion first. Then scale.
