Websites That Convert
How to write service pages that rank and convert.
Two jobs. Both have to be done on the same page.
The six sections every service page needs
In order.
- 01
Hero with the service name
The headline names the service. No mystery. “Tree Removal in Sanford, NC.”
- 02
What’s included
Plain language. What the customer actually gets when they hire you.
- 03
Process
What happens after they call. Removes the unknown.
- 04
Pricing context
You don’t have to publish a price. You do have to address “what does this cost.”
- 05
Proof
Real photos, real reviews tied to this service. Trust under every claim.
- 06
Call to action
Form and phone, twice. Top of the page and bottom.
The keyword rule
Use the service name naturally, not stuffed.
Mention the service in the H1, once in the intro, in 2–3 body sections, and in the page title and URL. Write for a person. Google figures it out from natural usage.
The conversion rule
A service page that ranks but doesn’t convert is worthless.
If the page loads, ranks, brings in traffic, but nobody calls, you’ve only done half the job. Every page should answer the question the visitor came with and tell them how to hire you. Both. On the same page.
The takeaway
Rank and convert.
If a page does one without the other, it’s not done yet.
